Welcome and Prayer

More About Jesus would I know, More of His grace to others show; More of His saving fullness see, More of His love who died for me.

More, more about Jesus, More, more about Jesus; More of His saving fullness see, More of His love who died for me.

More about Jesus let me learn, More of His holy will discern; Spirit of God, my teacher be, Showing the things of Christ to me.

More about Jesus; in His Word, Holding communion with my Lord; Hearing His voice in every line, Making each faithful saying mine.

More about Jesus on His throne, Riches in glory all His own; More of His kingdom’s sure increase; More of His coming—Prince of Peace.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 34

Love Lifted Me

I was sinking deep in sin,

Far from the peaceful shore,

Very deeply stained within,

Sinking to rise no more;

But the Master of the sea

Heard my despairing cry,

From the waters lifted me,

Now safe am I.

Love lifted me!

Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help,

Love lifted me.

Love lifted me!

Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help,

Love lifted me.

All my heart to Him I give,

Ever to Him I’ll cling,

In His blessed presence live,

Ever His praises sing;

Love so mighty and so true

Merits my soul’s best songs;

Faithful, loving service, too,

To Him belongs.

Souls in danger, look above,

Jesus completely saves;

He will lift you by His love

Out of the angry waves;

He’s the Master of the sea,

Billows His will obey;

He your Savior wants to be,

Be saved today.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Take the lead in honoring one another. Do not lack diligence in zeal; be fervent in the Spirit; serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Give careful thought to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes. If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for God’s wrath, because it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. But If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink. For in so doing you will be heaping fiery coals on his head. Do not be conquered by evil,

but conquer evil with good.

Romans 12:9-21

Prayer

Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed through His infinite mercy,

His child, and forever, I am.

Redeemed, redeemed,

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, redeemed,

His child, and forever, I am.

Redeemed and so happy in Jesus,

No language my rapture can tell;

I know that the light of His presence

With me doth continually dwell.

I think of my blessed Redeemer,

I think of Him all the day long;

I sing, for I cannot be silent;

His love is the theme of my song.

I know I shall see in His beauty

The King in whose law I delight;

Who lovingly guardeth my footsteps,

And giveth me songs in the night.

Message

On Jordan's Stormy Banks I stand, And cast a wishful eye To Canaan's fair and happy land, Where my possessions lie.

I am bound for the promised land, I am bound for the promised land; O, who will come and go with me? I am bound for the promised land.

All o'er those wide extended plains Shines one eternal day; There God the Son forever reigns, And scatters night away.

No chilling winds nor poisonous breath Can reach that healthful shore; Sickness and sorrow, pain and death, Are felt and feared no more.

When I shall reach that happy place, And be forever blest? When shall I see my Father's face, And in His bosom rest?

Benediction: Psalm 67:1-2
